Down the Rabbit Hole: Research Adventures in Malawi and Goa,” March 7, 2019, at the Xavier Centre of Historical Research, Alto Porvorim, Goa, India.

In 2017, Debra presented two papers on her preliminary research about Goans from Malawi: “What to Keep, What to Let Go: The Case of Indians from Nyasaland,” given at the BGSU Africana Studies Student Research Conference; and, “Thrice Migrants: Moving Toward a Global Community,” given at the BGSU Ray Browne Conference on Cultural and Critical Studies’ conference on the topic of Intersections of Identities: Difference and Coalition in a Transnational Context.
